Nicole Martinez [a brief history...]
Previously I was employed as the Art Director, then Creative Director at HHS&B Advertising in Pacifica, CA. Hired in fall 2006, my almost six year run with the agency came to an abrupt halt when the agency was forced to close it's doors. [read the history of HHS&B]. Before I was hired at HHS&B I was new to the world of graphic design. Having graduated from CSU Chico with a BA in Communications, I did a few odd jobs for local businesses to help get my feet wet. I have always been a creative person (something I like to credit my Mom with). I like to think that my creativity mixed with my enthusiasm in problem solving makes for great graphic & web design.

While working as the Creative Director at HHS&B Advertising, I won several awards for my work on different consumer show print campaigns. Advertising for consumer shows was a niche our agency fell into. I have worked on campaigns for Home Shows, Flower Shows, Car Shows, Art Shows and more.

Another division of our agency was Graphics Plus. I worked as the sole graphic designer / print broker and website designer there for six years as well. I was told by more than one of my Graphics Plus clients that we were the "go to" spot for printing or graphics in the area. I'm very happy with the feedback and referrals I received while working there and am also happy to say that same great service will continue in my work.

Now that I am working as a freelance designer, I'm excited to continue my work for businesses in the Pacifica community, as well as explore new opportunities. My goal is to help small businesses, (quite possibly like yourself), build a website for as little cost as possible. In doing so I hope to open the door of an online presence to those that thought it wasn’t possible.
